Arsenal's game against Man City is without doubt the highlight of the opening weekend of the season, which kicks off on August 11 and will finish on May 12.

Liverpool will play away from home in the Premier League before every Champions League group game this season.

Chelsea, who remain in a state of flux with question marks over their owner, manager and star players, have been handed a low-key start to the season, aside from the early meeting with Arsenal.

In contrast to this Manchester United, Tottenham and Manchester City have all been given an even split of three home and three away games in the same period.

It has been well documented that teams that compete in the Champions League regularly suffer poor results in their next Premier League fixture - especially when that follow up fixture is away from home.

Fulham's first game back in the Premier League sees former boss Roy Hodgson make the short trip across London with his Crystal Palace side.

"As you will note there is a home fixture scheduled for the weekend of 18-19 August 2018 and this match will be played as a home fixture at Wembley Stadium".

There will be another double-header derby day with both the North London and Merseyside clashes taking place on the same weekend.

Arsenal will begin proceedings by hosting the reigning champions at the Emirates before travelling to Stamford Bridge the following weekend. Oof.

And that includes Manchester United, who will visit Anfield on the weekend of December 15.

Liverpool's pre-Europe travels The Premier League has released dates for all 380 matches, but none have been allotted kick-off times as broadcasters are yet to decide which games will be televised.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho's Manchester United open the campaign against Leicester at Old Trafforf. Guardiola will hope to finally get the better of Jurgen Klopp when he goes to Anfield on October 6, or at the Etihad on New Year's Day.
