British monarch Queen Elizabeth II was spotted checking her watch on Friday as she patiently waited for President Donald Trump, who was late to their meeting, and the internet loves it.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth II (C) stands with US President Donald Trump (R) and US First Lady Melania Trump (L) in the Grand Corridor at Windsor Castle in Windsor, west of London, on July 13, 2018 during an engagement on the second day of Trump's United Kingdom visit.

And if keeping the Queen waiting is not enough, Trump, while inspecting the Guard of Honour at Windsor Castle, cut off the monarch and "dared to walk in front of him!" The President wore a suit and tie and the first lady wore a pale pink suit with a skirt and black belt.

His first questionable move took place within the first few seconds of meeting the Queen, when Trump walked up to greet her.

While Friday's protest and an array of sarcastic signs caused quite a stir, Trump's walk with the queen during an inspection of guardsmen quickly became a hot topic.

While Trump typically likes to take the lead, he appeared to follow the queen's direction, adjusting his pace to hers.

Queen Elizabeth's tea for the Trumps was due to last 25 minutes according to the White House's schedule, the last part of their official visit.

"I think whenever his detractors go after him, it makes him double down and it actually encourages him to keep going and prove everybody wrong", she said.

A source close to Trump was quoted as saying: "He won't put up with being lectured by anyone, even a member of the royal family".

The Queen, who has entertained all manner of world leaders during her 66-year reign, was described as the "perfect host". Perhaps so. But what you see in the photo is Parliament Square.

"I think he just didn't quite know what he was supposed to be doing and probably wondered where she had got to at that moment". Trump, who is known for his lengthy, powerful and intense handshakes, had many a little anxious about what would happen when he met the world's longest-serving monarch. HRH has met with every sitting president since ascending to the throne in 1952, with the exception of Lyndon Johnson.
