Anthony Scaramucci Tells Donald Trump: 'Dial Down The Lying'

John Kelly has ‘hissy fits’ and is hurting White House morale, Scaramucci says Scaramucci on The View: Kelly has hurt morale in the White House

"No one is mentioning the name (CNN)", said network analyst Gloria Borger after Trump's appearance. "Mainstream Media must clean up its act, FAST!"

Scaramucci's parsing comes as Trump has increasingly been under fire for abandoning the truth.

Mr Trump had said "unknown Middle Easterners" are travelling in a migrant caravan heading north to the United States from Central America, but then admitted "there's no proof of anything".

President Donald Trump has always had a very casual relationship with the truth. I am of the mind that a "lie" means willful misrepresentation; or specifically, that Trump knows the truth and purposely is not telling it.

In media interviews on Thursday, Scaramucci wasn't so happy to say that. "Nobody should lie. I'm not a big believer in lying".

Brennan has been an outspoken critic of Trump, calling the president's performance during a July joint news conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki "nothing short of treasonous". She insisted in a statement, however, that "I unequivocally condemn any and all acts of violence and terror".

"Nobody should lie", Scaramucci said after turning to the look directly into a camera.

This comes on the heels of his appearance on NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday, where Scaramucci said that he doesn't believe Kelly personally likes President Donald Trump and that he throws "hissy fits".

"He's an intentional liar, It's very different than just being a liar-liar", Scaramucci said. "When 90% of the coverage about this president is negative, despite the historic successes, when ideas are perpetuated and continued of negativity that is not helpful for the American discourse". "Yes, the president is lying". "But he's doing it intentionally to incite certain people which would include left-leaning journalists and most of the left-leaning politicians".

Scaramucci said that's it's normal for politicians to lie, but Trump does it more than others. "You said a scoundrel", Berman said.
